I have been working as a professional web developer, both full-time and freelance, for the last eight years. During this time I have worked on many sites for clients ranging from individuals to huge corporations.
I specialize in front-end development working with jQuery to enhance the user experience. I also have experience with PHP development and building sites for various different content management systems.
To me one of the most interesting thing about the web is the ability to build a startup with a relatively low overhead. With a simple text editor and a host, you can have something that might impact millions around the world.
Some current favorite technologies of mine are PHP, MySQL, jQuery, XHTML, HTML5, CSS3, jQTouch, PhoneGap, and iOS Development.
The site mainly uses XHTML/CSS and jQuery with heavy focus on it's search engine optimization. The new website was designed to give the company a more prominent online presence bringing new customers.
This site was built with wordpress and features live online help customer service.
This client has grown tremendously and it was time to reamp their current website that showcased their venue and event with the latest style and function. It was time to create a new website with more appealing, easy to manage, and more interactivity for their current and prospective members.
A freelance project I designed and built for the Grumman Retiree Club. The site runs on Joomla CMS and features a member only email search. The CMS option gave the client both flexibility to update on their own and anywhere they wish.
I graduated from New York Institute of Technologies with a degree in Computer Graphics and have been working with in web field ever since. I am mostly self taught and have a passion for web design and development. I keep up with the growing technology and love to problem solve, seeking out answers, and constantly bettering my work. I constantly work to stay current on modern web design and development trends and techniques, one of my favorite web news site is Smashing Magazine.
When not battling with codes or designs, I enjoy playing soccer and other outdoor activities. I'm also a film buff who greatly admire foreign cinema and independent films.
